So wood!

I gioielli sono stati realizzati nel corso del secondo anno di IED a Torino, in collaborazione con l’orafo Dante di Lilla.
Il progetto nasce da un’idea eco-sostenibile, utilizzare ottone riciclato e la corteccia degli alberi, in questo caso di ulivo perché più resistente.L’orecchino riprende la forma della spirale presente in natura, con
applicazioni di corteccia, fissata a lastre di ottone; nella parte superiore vi sono dei fili di ottone saldati al tutto con il laser.
L’anello è formato da tre fili di ottone,al loro interno sono state inserite e saldate delle lastre, sempre di ottone, usate a sostegno della corteccia di ulivo, sopra la quale vi sono due fili di ottone saldati con il laser.
Le tecniche usate sono quella della trafilatura per il filo di ottone ,sia nell'orecchino che nell’anello,con due
diametri diversi. Le lastre sono state tagliate con il seghetto, la corteccia fissata con colle apposite e poi lucidata con una sostanza protettiva, per evitare si rovini nel tempo.

The jewels were made during the second year of IED in Turin, in collaboration with the goldsmith Dante Lille. The project is the brainchild eco-friendly, using recycled brass and the bark of trees, in this case because the more olive resistente.L 'earring takes the shape of the spiral in nature, with applications of bark, fastened to plates brass at the top of the wires are welded to the brass of all with the laser. The ring is formed by three strands of brass, were included in them and welded plates, also of brass, used in support of the bark of olive trees, above which there are two brass wires welded with the laser. The techniques used are that of the drawing for the brass wire, which is nell'orecchino in the ring, with two different diameters. The slabs were cut with the saw, the bark attached with special glue and then polished with a protective order to avoid going off over time.
